Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." (Matthew 19:14)
We love and welcome children at Church@thepeak. To help children grow to love Jesus, Kids' Church runs in conjunction with our Sunday Service. Kids' Church runs for children aged 0 to Year 8 at school.
We have five different Kids' Church groups – Pebbles, Mini Peaks, Adventurers, Explorers, and Base Camp.

PEBBLES (Toddlers 0-2 yrs): Our little Pebbles learn simple truths from the Bible about God’s love for them and how He made everything. They learn to play together with their friends and leaders, learn songs, how to pray, and sometimes do a simple craft.
MINI PEAKS (Preschool 3-5yrs): Mini Peaks is a two year program based on 'Teaching Little Ones' by Matthias Media. It introduces a big overview of the Bible and the big ideas about God - His love and care of them, and that Jesus is God’s powerful Son who wants to be their friend, King and saviour. In Mini Peaks the kids play, sing, do craft and pray, all around the big idea of the day.
ADVENTURERS (Kindy-Year 2) Adventurers is a three year program tailored to our 5-8 years olds who are starting out on the 'adventure' of school; being more independent and discovering things for themselves. They learn big themes that run through the Bible such as promises, kingship, and salvation. Each week will include connection time, singing, Bible time, craft, games and prayer.
EXPLORERS (Years 3-5): Our 'Explorers' are at the age and stage where they are being encouraged to explore the Bible more deeply and dig deeper into its truths and application. Explorers is a three year program based on CEP’s 'Over the Top' series for 8-11 yr olds and includes looking more deeply at books and themes in the Bible to learn about God’s unfolding salvation plan for the world. Our Explorers age group will regularly do outside fun activities as part of their connection and fellowship time, as well as Bible time, discussion and prayer.
BASE CAMP (Years 6-8): The aim of Base Camp is to build on foundational truths and help teach, train and equip our tweens/teens to be ready for the journey of life ahead. We look at what the Bible has to say about the challenges of living for Jesus in today's modern world. It's also a space for our young people to ask tough questions.
BABIES
We understand that babies make noise and we're more than happy for you and your baby to be with us in church. However if you need to comfort or soothe your baby in a space away from loud noise and music, feel free to use our Pebbles room. There is also baby change table in the disabled bathroom.
ALLERGIES
As there are a number of children in our community with allergies. We ask that you do not bring any nut products to church. We meet in a school that has a strict no nuts policy and we would not like to see any children harmed
