OUR VALUES
1. BIBLICAL TEACHING
We are committed to teaching and using the Bible in preaching, pastoring and personal study. The Bible is the authoritative and inspired Word of God that is essential for knowing him and living godly lives [2 Tim 3:16-17, 2 Pet 1:21].
2. PROCLAIMING CHRIST
We are committed to boldly proclaiming Jesus Christ in word and deed to those in our community who don’t yet know him as Lord and saviour. As the good news of Jesus is proclaimed, God calls people to himself [Matt 28:19; 1 Cor 1:23-24; 1 Pet 3:15].
3. PRAYER
We are committed to praying individually and collectively for all things. Prayer is an expression of our dependence on God’s sovereignty and our relationship with him as our heavenly Father [Matt 6:9-13; Phil 4:6; Eph 6:18; Col 4:2].
4. SPIRITUAL GROWTH
We are committed to growing in faith and godliness so that we may better love and serve God and each other. Spiritual growth occurs as we are transformed by his Word and Spirit so that we would submit our whole lives to him and his good purposes [Matt 22:36-40; Rom 12:1-2, Eph 4:11-16].
5. COMMUNITY FOCUS
We are committed to loving and serving our community with acts of service, opening up our lives and homes and proclaiming Christ in a way that is culturally relevant. [Acts 2:44-46; Rom 12:13; 1 Cor 9:19-23]

Our BELIEFS
GOD
We believe in the one God – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This triune God is the sovereign creator and sustainer of all things and worthy to receive all glory, honour and praise.
JESUS
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who was crucified, died and was raised back to life. It is only through Jesus that we come to know God the Father because he died as the perfect sacrifice and atonement for the forgiveness of our sins. The risen Jesus now sits in glory at the right hand of the Father, and will return to judge everyone.
HOLY SPIRIT
We believe the Holy Spirit is sent by the Father and the Son to all believers as a seal of their salvation. By the Holy Spirit, believers are renewed, made holy and made members of God’s family by uniting them with Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit indwells, guides, instructs and empowers believers for Christ-like living and service.
HUMANITY
We believe that God created human beings to rule over the earth and be in fellowship with him. However, by nature we are inherently sinful, turn our backs on God and deserve his righteous judgment. It is only by God’s generosity and love towards us in Jesus that we are saved.
We believe that God created human beings male and female and as such establishes marriage as the only normative pattern of sexual relations for men and women. In God’s wisdom, men and women are not interchangeable but rather complement each other in mutually enriching ways.
GOSPEL OF GRACE
We believe we are made right before God only by faith in Jesus who died as the atoning sacrifice for our sin. We cannot earn nor do we deserve to be right with God by doing good works. This is God’s grace to us. While faith alone makes us right before God, faith is not alone, as it produces good work in us.
BIBLE
We believe that the Bible is the word of God and contains all things necessary to salvation. We believe that because the Bible is inspired by the Holy Spirit it is the inerrant and authoritative word of God that is essential for knowing him and living godly lives.
CHURCH
We believe that the church is the body of Christ, of which Christ is the head. As such we believe it is essential for God’s people to regularly gather together under Christ to hear and be transformed by the word of God, to spur one another on in faith, and serve one another in love.
